Help : Printing
How to print pagesThere are two ways to do this - Choose 'Print' from your web browser file menu.
- Click on the 'Print this page' link, found at the bottom left of every page (not available for Internet Explorer for Macintosh).
Printer-friendly pagesAll the pages on this site are "printer-friendly". The idea being that there are elements of a web page — the navigation menu for example — which are useful on the web, but redundant on a print-out.
Printer-friendly pages hide the web-specific parts of the page, and re-format the content to make it presentable on a printed page.
This not only provides readers with the most legible version of our site, but also gives you a page which prints quicker, saving you time and ink. All the pages on this site are formatted using a sprinkle of magic that ensures that they will reformat themselves automatically when you print them.
Some web browsers, such as Mozilla and Firefox, will even show a preview of the reformatted page (File menu » Print preview)
You should not expect to see - Any menus (top or side)
- The banner images and animation on the main home page and product home pages.
- The two so-called "page tools" (print this page, email this page): neither are relevant on paper
- Various elements which serve no useful purpose on paper.
You should expect to see - The font/typeface has changed. Some typefaces are more legible on screen, and some on print. We chose typefaces to suit each media: non-serifed on screen, serif for printed pages.
Problems? If you find any pages on this site don't print nicely, use the "feedback" link at the bottom of the page to drop a line to our web team and we'll fix it.
