Counterpoint’s Global Sales & Marketing Manager Dan Cox (pictured – he’s the one on the left) and product expert Natalie Mycielski attended Brand Licensing Europe 2008 at London’s Olympia Hall, on October 1-2. As well as meeting with brand owners, agencies and licensees, they attended presentations at the Brand Licensing Academy, including a keynote by Counterpoint client Magnus Scheving, creator and star of LazyTown.
Heather Bryant Joins Counterpoint Systems2 October 2008
Counterpoint Systems is delighted to announce the appointement of Heather Bryant as Senior Business Analyst. Bryant, formerly a Talent Accounting Business Project Manager with BBC Worldwide, has broad experience in royalty accounting in the music recording, film, television and broadcast industries. In her new role, she will advise and provide business analysis to customers of Counterpoint Systems’ Media and Record Maestro applications.
Counterpoint Attends MIPCOM 20082 October 2008

Dan arrives with broad expertise in broadcast media rights and intellectual property management, and has previously held senior business development positions with Oracle and Sophoi Inc. Managing business development for Counterpoint Systems on a worldwide and multi-industry basis, Dan’s particular focus will be to develop new business among media and entertainment clients at the enterprise level.
Steve Pitts appointed as Senior V.P./General Manager8 September 2008
Counterpoint Systems, is delighted to announce that it has appointed Steve Pitts to the post of Senior Vice President and General Manager. Steve will oversee all day-to-day operations for the company and will work to both strengthen Counterpoint’s dominance in its core markets, and to raise its profile in new and developing markets, such as film and television markets, and product licensing. Steve has nearly two decades of senior-level experience in information technology and project management, including service as Vice President for Studio and Feature Production IT at 20th Century Fox.
