MIDEM Part 1 Report

The opening day of MIDEM was a great success for Counterpoint Systems. 2010 marks the unveiling of Counterpoint's new logo, and a new MIDEM stand with the updated corporate branding. However, the Counterpoint staff hardly had time to stop and appreciate the new stand, as this year's meeting schedule has been busier than ever. We've been meeting with a mixture of existing clients here to see the new features Counterpoint have released throughout 2009,and record labels and music publishers who are keen to have demonstrations of Music Maestro and Record Maestro.

Another great Counterpoint cocktail party!

We didn't think it was going to be possible to come close to the success of last year's party. However, the party last night, hosted for the second year in a row on the American Association of Independent Music (A2IM) pavillion, was packed. In celebration of the NFL Conference Finals, we ran a football pool to win champagne, and raffle for the shirts of the competing teams. It was a fantastic networking event, mixing A2IM members and Counterpoint clients in a fun environment.
