fresh ground MusicSource HD unveiled

Just in time for the National Association of Broadcasters conference in Las Vegas, Counterpoint Systems is pleased to announce the release of a brand new product: fresh ground MusicSource HD - a companion system to fresh ground MusicSource Online, Counterpoint's online music search application.
fresh ground MusicSource HD is designed to accommodate music searches by stand-alone users (those not on the Internet), whether on Macintosh or Windows computers. Because of security concerns, many music users have to remain disconnected from the Internet (e.g., Avid workstations used to edit films and television programs), but MusicSource HD provides a localized solution that offers tremendous value to both users and music providers (hopefully encouraging further use of their music). Many Counterpoint clients also require a packaged solution to automate local delivery of high-quality music files (WAV or AIFF), which is all made possible in MusicSource HD.
Amongst the first customers for fresh ground MusicSource HD were Megatrax Production Music Library from North Hollywood, CA, who said they were "impressed with where we are going with our hard drive delivery possibilities".
