Counterpoint Launch CRM

24 January 2006

Counterpoint are proud to announce the launch of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) module for music publishers using Music Maestro, Maestro 400 or iMaestro.

This new module offers you the ability to provide your clients with a web-based information service which will complement all your existing lines of communication. Your clients can now access royalty and summary statements, financial balances, copyright and licensing information for themselves without having to contact you directly.

Improved communication between publisher and client will lead to data stored on internal systems being more accurate, up-to-date and relevant. As a result, you will be able to improve the quality of your customer care, reduce your own support costs and improve customer relationships.

The system also incorporates content management functionality, allowing you to update information on your CRM site such as news announcements, notifications and even customised user/error messages.

The entire system is password protected to ensure the highest level of data confidentiality and the security of the site content. This security framework also allows you to restrict access to certain areas and pages on a user-by-user basis.

“CRM is an extremely valuable tool and one of the greatest additions to our long list of solutions.

Research has shown that companies that create satisfied customers have stronger brand value and we aim to provide those tools to our clients. I am extremely excited by the launch of CRM”, said Amos Biegun, CEO of Counterpoint Systems.

Benefits of this module include:

  • Time savings: Clients can access information for themselves without having to contact you directly.
  • Cost savings: Your client can assist you in maintaining your data in areas such as copyright, royalty, license and contact information which will be exchanged electronically.
  • A higher level of service to clients: This will serve to improve your competitive edge.
  • Improved communication: Data stored on internal systems being more accurate, up-to-date and relevant.

Examples of the data that can be made available to your clients include:

  • Financial balances
  • Financial transactions
  • Royalty statements
  • Detailed song and product income analyses
  • Song copyright information, including society registration status
  • Contact information
  • Licensing activity including active and expired licenses

In addition, the client will be able to notify the publisher of:

  • New works
  • New products
  • Changes to contact details
  • Add additional statement recipients
  • Upload of tax and other certificates
