Counterpoint Systems, a London-based outfit that designs software applications to help music companies manage royalties and publishing rights, has acquired TL Creates, a Stockton, California-based software developer. Counterpoint's flagship Windows-based products are Music Maestro and Record Maestro. The company has provided solutions to clients such as BMG Entertainment, EMI, MCA, Sony, Virgin and Warner Chappell Music Publishing. TL Creates develops software that enables clients in the entertainment, sports and publishing industries to address their royalty tracking requirements.
