Counterpoint Systems recently announced that Byteplanet.com has selected its Record Maestro software package to manage its rights and royalties, as well as those of Byteplanet’s ever-increasing number of administered companies. Independent labels will be able to access the groundbreaking software via Byteplanet.com's Music Trade Center facility, giving smaller companies worldwide the chance to experience Counterpoint's innovative services first hand.

Netherlands based Byteplanet.com introduces its pioneering Music Trade Center at Midem 2002. This facility utilizes the Internet's communication potential to assist artists, labels and content owners in licensing tracks, expanding distribution, and selling directly to consumers on a global scale.

The Music Trade Center also caters for content sellers by providing a platform to ingeniously locate and sample music, acquire licensing and distribution information, license direct, view sample contracts, and quickly contact rights owners.
