Pelican ProFiles' Budgeting Module puts budgetary mayhem back in Pandora's box and nails the lid shut.

Licensors can now create and track multi-dimensional budgets, forecasts and re-forecasts with as much detail as they can stomach, and their Licensees will thank them for it.

This module will help them draw up budget worksheets for each Agent, Licensee or Contract. Using any combination of contract, territory, article, entity, channel and SKU. The recipient pops open the pre-populated spreadsheet, fills in the forecast information and sends it back.

That wasn't so bad, was it?

Back at the Licensor ranch, the module speedily imports the worksheets, creating new SKUs on the fly as they are received.

Further down the line, as royalties are posted into the Pelican ProFiles Contract Management System, the budget is updated with actual data and the real fun begins. More online queries and reports than you can shake a stick at allow licensing managers to quickly view the current and projected state of play for contracts based on forecasted versus actual data.

Result: each client can budget the way they do business, and everyone gets to go home at 5.
