News archiveMajor enhancements to CMRRA, HFA, MCPS License Uploads14 August 2002
In response to user requests and in addition to the published Core Changes enhancements, Counterpoint has applied the following major enhancements to the Maestro 400 License Upload module. No more catalog mappingIt is no longer necessary to map all of the incoming catalogs and confirm with F1. An automatic mapping feature has been added for catalogs that have previously been mapped or created via an upload. If by any chance you want to disable this automatic mapping there is a new user control available. (Release 5.0.7)Automatic song mappingIt is no longer necessary for songs that have been matched during a previous upload to have the matching confirmed when they appear in a new upload. This greatly reduces the time for matching. (Release 5.0.7)Map to a sub coded songIt is now possible to match an incoming song to a sub-coded song. (Release 5.0.1)Map to song codeIt is now possible to map a song by entry of the song code and sub code as an alternative to selecting by title. (Release 5.0.1)Entry of Manufacturers and LabelsThe F6-Create function now carries the incoming Label or manufacturer name through to the create screen thereby removing the need for you to remember it. (Release 5.0.1)Combining Artist NamesIf more than one Artist is reported on a license then the names will be strung together into the resulting Maestro 400 Artist field. (Release 5.0.5)Manufacturer MappingDefault values have been applied to the 'Suffix Duplicate Catalogs' and 'Suffix All Catalogs' fields. (Release 5.0.5)Rejected Licenses ReportFor unmatched songs the Composer is now printed, if supplied, in place of the previous '******************' entry.
