Breakdown Services takes Music Report online at TuneData.com

25 October 2002

Breakdown Services has implemented Counterpoint Systems' fresh ground MusicSource Online to automate Music Report, their weekly publication listing scoring, A&R, soundtrack and other music needs.

Best known for their work with talent agencies and casting directors, Breakdown Services originally launched Music Report as a natural extension of releasing casting breakdowns. Music Report is subscribed to by legitimate agents, labels, managers and publishers who represent artists and catalogs of music.

A custom website developed by Counterpoint Systems built in concert with fresh ground MusicSource Online enables music supervisors to search for sync and master rights for all types of music. The site also facilitates the easy submission of ideas and audio clips to the contacts listed in Music Report.

Music Supervisors can find music anytime using the search engine, or simply check for responses to their submissions to Music Report. They can choose from popular or production music from hundreds of publishers and music libraries, and they can keep historical records of music usage. System subscribers (music owners) can make their music available anytime to labels, agents, managers, publishers, music supervisors, producers, and agencies, reaching new opportunities and markets. They too can keep historical records of music submissions.

"Counterpoint Systems is proud to partner with Breakdown Services," said Amos Biegun, CEO of Counterpoint Systems. "And we are glad to have provided the company with a comprehensive search and submission system that helps them serve Music Report subscribers better."
