Kenneth Cole Productions has purchased the Pelican ProFiles 632 CMS Network System to handle the licensing and royalty tracking for its Kenneth Cole and Reaction brands.

Kenneth Cole started out designing shoes and has since extended his company's reach into men's and women's clothing, outerwear, leather products including handbags and briefcases, optical design, accessories, fragrances and luggage. Kenneth Cole products are normally found in high-end department and clothing stores as well as being available via their catalog and website.

Kenneth Cole Productions will use the software to track licenses with other apparel manufacturers that produce its branded items. The company will also be using the ProFiles General Ledger upload to transfer royalty summary data to its E-Enterprise corporate accounting system: the ProFiles system effectively becomes a sub ledger of the corporate accounting system.
