A Dummy Royalty Run will process all of your released statements through a calculation without applying any updates to the database, without requiring a data backup and without interrupting the workflow of other users.
This means that you can still work with the posted statements to make amendments or corrections following a Dummy Run (whereas previously you would have had to work with the suspense and error files or create aditional manual adjusting statements). Financial inquiry and full analysis reporting are available for the results of the Dummy Run and royalty statements may also be produced.
