Fully Integrated Accounting allows a CMS application to process contracts for Licensing In and Out. In it’s inherent state, CMS applies to only Licensing Out contracts. With Fully Integrated Accounting, contracts in which rights are being used rather than granted, all of the necessary Vendor, Voucher, and Payment information is tracked using the full Accounts Payable module; while the contracts in which rights are being granted still accurately track the necessary Receivables information. Essentially, the module allows CMS to operate as both a receivables and payables system simultaneously. The variance is handled via Contract Type specification, where each type is defined as being used for Licensing IN or Licensing OUT. Fully Integrated Accounting is ideal for those businesses that license their own intellectual rights as well as use the intellectual rights of others.
