Chasing Letters allows the set up and processing of “dunning notices” as necessary, based on user-defined parameters. The letters are created in a word processor (such as Microsoft Word) and set up by the user with Merge codes to pull in appropriate contract, and address information from the Contract Management System (CMS). The physical letters are produced via Document Merging. The Chasing Letters Module comes with a sample letter to use as a guide. The process allows for different letters, usually increasing in severity, to be sent over the chasing letter cycle. During a single run of chasing letters different letters can be produced for different customers, depending on how many letters they have already been sent for the issue in question. Once the problem is solved, the system removes them from the chasing letter process. During processing, the user will also have the ability to selectively include or exempt customers from the process. The process is run based on due dates in question. Chasing letters can be sent for Royalty Reports, Insurance documents and Guarantee Payments.
